MEGADETH, NEW HEADLINER OF RESURRECTION FEST 2014
Lagwagon, Judge, Carcass, High on Fire, Architects, The Ocean, Angelus Apatrida, Vildhjarta, Backtrack, Heart in Hand, Hyde Abbey, Mutant Squad, Anal Hard, Acid Mess and Childrain will be added to the ninth edition of the festival from July 31 to August 2 in Viveiro, Lugo
In line with the festival philosophy to offer a well-chosen poster, with additions to date as NOFX, Turbonegro, Testament, Down, Amon Amarth, Gojira or Sick of it All, RESURRECTION FEST 2014 presents a historical representative of metal as Megadeth. The pioneers of the genre led by former Metallica Dave Mustaine will be this summer in Viveiro (Lugo) with other seventy bands more to celebrate the ninth edition of a festival made by and for fans who managed to place in a main reference of this genre in Europe.
After 35 years of militancy in music, a recent concert with the Symphony Orchestra of San Diego and more than 50 million albums sold with Megadeth, singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Mustaine will reach Viveiro presenting the fourteenth album, Super Collider, with his band in an exclusive date in Spain and Portugal, before a massive legion of fans that will move mountains to see them.
The public will have a unique opportunity to attend live concert of a legend of thrash metal, only one edition after enjoying another great member of the Big Four as Slayer. In addition, Fat Wreck Chords, Lagwagon, will comeback after their successful return for the festival in 2010, immersed in a new album that promises a breakthrough in the RESURRECTION FEST 2014.
This year it also will become part of the history of festival one the main bands of hardcore punk and an emblem of the straight edge, Judge. In addition, Carcass, who are nearly thirty years of its establishment, will show that they stay in perfect shape, led by unquestionable showman as bassist and vocalist Jeffrey Walker.
High on Fire, metal trio of Bay Area led by Matt Pike, will discharge their energetic stoner metal at Viveiro after their tour of Australia, and British Architects return RESURRECTION FEST with their metalcore, heavy riffs and complex arrangements.
The post-metal will come from the hand of Germans The Ocean , with its new Pelagial work, the thrash metal of the national band Apatrida Angelus will also repeat appearance in the festival, and we will also enjoy the progressive metal of Swedish Vildhjarta.

In the absence of more bands to be confirmed, among which are the winners of the Contest Band and more tribute bands to be announced, seventy bands will gather with tens of thousands of followers from 31 July to 2 August RESURRECTION FEST in Viveiro. The expectation in social media is maximum three months before the date and every new announcement becomes TT in Spain.
