Maryam-Jan-Mar-2016-EN.Pdf From the Editor... In today’s world we see more and more people turning away from religion, or thinking that those who are devout followers of religion are extremists, due to the constant negative image portrayed in the media. Those who are ignorant of the truth may be misled to believe that the ENGLISH EDITOR acts of terrorists or extremists are a true reflection of religion or are Hina Ahmedi caused by religious teachings. It is for this reason that it is vital that as members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, who are blessed URDU EDITOR with the guidance of the divinely appointed Khalifah of the time; we Sabah Un Noor Tahir must strive to show those around us through our actions that Islam is a beautiful and peaceful religion. EDITORIAL BOARD Hibba-Tul Mussawir One way in which we can do this is to always act upon the Conditions of Maleeha Mansur Bai’at that we agree to abide by as Ahmadi Muslims. Today reliance on Meliha Hayat God has become secondary while the importance of worldly people and Salma Mahmood Malik worldly matters has become foremost. We find this to be the situation Nayla Muzamil when we look around. However, we need to analyse ourselves and Mashel Chaudhry ensure that we are not falling into the trap of relying more on worldly Samina Yasmeen Arif sources; rather we must remember that it is only through God’s help and Amatul Wakeel Maha blessings that we are able to achieve anything in life. Sameera Mirza Kashifa Qamar In his Friday sermon on 11th October 2013 Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaba said: Sidra Mahmood “The Promised Messiahas stipulated ten conditions of Bai’at. He said Ramsha Hassan that anyone wishing to be part of his Community should keep a strong bond with him and fulfil the ten conditions… The Promised Messiahas MANAGER said not to assume that God is pleased merely by one taking Bai’at. Zanubia Ahmad Taking Bai’at is only the outer shell while the core/kernel is within. He said one’s condition should not be like eggs which have no yolk or ASSISTANT MANAGER white and which are discarded. One should scrutinise oneself whether Dure Jamal Mala one is mere shell or is there a kernel within!” In this Issue of Maryam Magazine we will begin a series looking deeper COVER DESIGN into the Conditions of Bai’at, which will inshAllah give us a better Atiyya Wasee understanding of how we can truly fulfil our Bai’at. This issue will also include some insightful responses to current events in the news given PAGE DESIGN by Waqfe nau girls in the UK. May Allah enable us to benefit and gain Soumbal Qureshi knowledge from reading these articles and use these tools to spread the Adeeba Tahir beautiful teachings of Islam. El islam soñado: la fe ahmadía. Dreamed Islam: the ahmadia faith. Abstract: Despite the small number of its faithful, the Ahmadiyya faith stands out for the public presence and political support that it achieves in the West, this is due to some of its characteristics - such as the defense of religious freedom or the firm condemnation of terrorism - that make from this Islamic sect a dreamed Islam; This article investigates its origins and message, to know to what extent this Islam dreamed in reality is.

  • Nisab Hilal Atfal (Teil I) 12
