Installing JPAMs on your iPAQ

1.  Plug your IPAQ into your office desktop computer with the syncing cable and open the Internet on your computer ... go to http://10.1.200.5/

2.  At the bottom of the window, click on the link “SuperWaba Runtime for Pocket PC”.

3.  When the installation begins click “Run” > “Run” > “Next” > “Yes”

4.  When this window below pops up, look at your iPAQ immediately…

5.  Tap “Yes” on your iPAQ and then tap “Install” on your iPAQ.

6.  You will get a confirmation that SuperWaba has been installed.

7.  Now go back to your Internet window on your computer and click the second link “JMobile for PocketPC” at the bottom of the window.

8.  When the installation begins click “Run” > “Run” > “Next”

9.  When this window pops up, click to choose “I accept the terms….” Then click “Finish.”

10. When this window below pops up, look at your iPAQ quickly…

11. Tap “Yes” on your iPAQ and then tap “Install” on your iPAQ.

12. You will get a confirmation that JMobile has been installed… click OK… close all
windows on your computer.

13. Open JPAMS on your office desktop computer and login (coffee cup shortcut).

14. In the top right hand corner of the screen double click the “Handheld” button.

15. In the middle of the new screen, double click on “Create Handheld Databases.”

16. In the “Create Handheld Databases” window that pops open, choose your school, grade range, and click to put a check mark in front of all “Databases” on the right hand side except “School Staff.”

17. When you click the “Create” button, the computer will “do its thing”.

18. The box below will pop up telling you where your data is saved. By default, the computer saves your data inside a folder called “JMobile” which can be found inside your “My Documents” folder.

19. Close JPAMS and double click “My Documents” and then double click to open the “JMobile” folder inside.

20.Now click “Edit” > “Select All” on the top menu bar.

21. When all the files are selected (turn blue) go back to the top menu bar and click “Edit” > “Copy.”

21. Now close that window and go back to “My Computer” and double click it.

22. Inside you will see Mobile Device. Double click to open.

23. Now double click “My Windows Mobile-Based Device” and inside you will see a folder named “SuperWaba” … double click that, and you will see a folder called “JMobile”. Double click “JMobile” to open it.

24. Now go to the top menu bar and click “Edit” > “Paste” and then close all windows.

Remember, the data is only current as of the day you follow these steps. If you want more current data at a later date, just follow the steps again.
