The festival fuses art, the lambeth interview music and technology to create an • experimental blend of performances. This year’s festival features performances from rap pioneer Gil Scott Heron – supported by Lambeth’s own mercury prize winner Speech Debelle. Lou Reed also makes a rare appearance alongside improviser Ulrich Krieger and laptop artist Sarth Calhoun in a performance inspired by Reed’s 1975 album Metal Machine Music. Opening the festival will be the Stereo MCs – a band with plenty of Lambeth connections. They will be performing with The Bays in a concert that also sees The Herbaliser, Tom Middleton, Kid Fiesta, Horton Jupiter and AJ Holmes take to the stage.
