Communiqué De Presse Communiqué De Presse 07 JANVIER 2015 The New Renault Espace: prices in France The new Renault Espace is not due to go on sale until the spring, but Renault is already releasing details of its prices for the model in France. From launch, the new Espace will be available with a choice of four equipment levels: Life, Zen, Intens and Initiale Paris. The new Espace range features a selection of three engines which combine driving enjoyment and low fuel consumption thanks to the model’s contained weight and aerodynamic lines: Energy dCi 130 with manual gearbox, Energy dCi 160 EDC6 and Energy TCe 200 EDC7 Prices in France will range from €34,200 (Life Energy dCi 130 with manual gearbox) to €46,300 (Initiale Paris Energy dCi 160 EDC6). The range The new Renault Espace can accommodate up to seven occupants and all versions will be available with seven seats. The entry level version – Renault Espace Life – boasts a particularly generous equipment package: Expressive styling: Full LED PURE VISION lights, 18­inch alloy wheels Unprecedented travelling comfort: Lumière panoramic windscreen A fresh approach to cabin modularity: One­Touch function for second­ and third­row seats Technology: new Renault R­LINK2® system, an intuitive, connected multimedia system with large 8.7­ inch display’ Driver aids: front, rear and lateral parking sensors The Zen equipment level includes the new Renault Multi­Sense® system. Thanks to Renault’s new Multi­Sense® system, the new Espace generates the desired mood and sensations via four pre­programmed modes: ‘Eco’, ‘Comfort‘, Neutral’ and ‘Sport’, in addition to a ‘Perso’ mode that is freely and easily configurable. Each setting creates and coordinates a specific driving emotion thanks to: ­ the engine response, ­ the EDC transmission’s gearshift calibration, ­ and the degree of effort required to turn the steering wheel. ­ the calibration of the 4Control® chassis (optional on Zen and Intens versions), ­ the suspension settings (optional on Zen and Intens versions), The in­car ambience is harmonised according to the driver’s desire by adapting: ­ the colour of the interior lighting (green, blue, white, red, purple), ­ the presentation and colour of the information displayed by the instruments, as well the content, ­ the engine sound, ­ the intensity and frequency of the seat massages, ­ the settings for the climate control system. The Intens version comes with additional hi­tech and comfort­enhancing features: motorised tailgate, Easy Park Assist, head­up display, adaptive cruise control and Dark Brown Riviera leather upholstery. The Initiale Paris equipment level is the new Espace range’s exclusive signature version and delivers the very best of Renault’s knowhow… The Initiale Paris version stands out through its high level A new body colour and a new choice of wheels heighten the vehicle’s elegant exterior styling. New comfort features and an updated R-LINK 2 multimedia system now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto further enrich the travelling experience. The all-new Energy TCe 225 petrol engine mated to seven-speed EDC automatic transmission has been added to model’s powertrain catalogue. This new engine, which was developed in association with Renault Sport, delivers 225hp (165kW) and peak torque of 300Nm. Driving enjoyment is enhanced with even more responsive acceleration and pick-up than the Energy TCe 200 engine it is replacing. NEDC-cycle fuel consumption is still low at 6.8 litres/100km, which is equivalent to emissions of 152g of CO2/km (New European Driving Cycle). The new Energy TCe 225 EDC powertrain is can be specified for the Zen, Intens and Initiale Paris versions of the model.
