MITCHELL, Randy, 56, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Belmont Community Hospital in Bellaire, Ohio. He was born July 23, in Lansing,1956, Michigan, a son of the late Paul and Dorothy Johnson Mitchell. Randy was a Southern Baptist by faith and was involved in retail sales with various businesses. He was an avid collector of old books and movies and Disney collectables. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Schau Mitchell; three sons, Adam Mitchell in Connecticut, Logan Mitchell in Alabama and Max Mitchell in New Hampshire; one sister, Judy Bechtel of Greenville, South Carolina and one brother, Ron Mitchell of Lansing, Michigan and two step-children, Alyssa Davis of North Royalton, Ohio and Tyler Davis of Shadyside, Ohio. Also sev eral nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Bauk necht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, Ohio on Friday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. with Randy Weaver officiating. May 12, 2008. in Columbus, Ohio. He was bom February 25, 1935, in Wheeling, the son of the late Harry and Blanche Mellott Mitchell. He was retired from City- County Building Maintenance Department in Wheeling; and was a Methodist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife. Thelma Meeker Mitchell: a stepson. Robert J. Hails; brothers, Robert S. Mitchell and Henry Mitchell: and a sister, Betty Joanne Gwennap. Surviving are his children, Pamela Obyc and her hus band. Rick, Terri Mitchell, Richard Mitchell. II, Brenda Smith and her husband, Edward, Michele Lee and her husband. Rod: stepson, John Hails and his wife, Lisa, of Columbus: brothers, Harry Mitchell, Jr. and William Mitchell: a sister, Dolores Dunn; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a special friend, Marjorie Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews. He was born January 3, 1944, a son of the late Arless and Sylvia Atkins Mitchell. Robert was a retired crane operator at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed motorcycling and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Loraine Peacemaker, and brothers, Charles, Arles, Donald and Howard Mitchell. Robert is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Mitchell of Martins Ferry; a sister, Sylvia McFadden of Bellaire; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Aaron) I Potts of Barton, Elizabeth ! He was born on October 20, 1926 in Bethany, a son of the late William and Rose Nixon Mitchell. He was also preceded in death by a brother. El wood; three sisters, Annabel le. Betty, and Wilma; and his son-in-law, Robert L. Meneely, in 1999. Robert worked for 43 years at Bethany College in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of the Bethany Memorial Church; and the Sugar Run Lodge. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Helen Morgan Mitchell at home; two daughters, Teresa Meneely and companion, David Britt, of Wellsburg, W.Va. and Beth Wawrzeniak and husband, Mark, of Pleas ant Hills. Pa.; one brother, Donald L. Mitchell and wife, Nancy, of Wellsburg; one sis ter, Margaret L. Conner of Bethany; two granddaughters, Morgan and Madison; and one grandson, Luke.
