Traffic Advice Introduction of KMB Route No. N287 (Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) to Wu Kai Sha Station) Passengers are advised that with effect from 30 October 2017 (Monday), KMB will introduce a new bus route numbered as N287 (Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) to Wu Kai Sha Station). CB(1)1012/04-05(04) Legislative Council Panel on Transport Subcommittee on matters relating to railways Performance of Ma On Shan Rail after commissioning Purpose This paper informs Members about the performance of Ma On Shan (MOS) Rail after its commissioning on 21 December 2004, and the progress of noise monitoring of MOS Rail. Performance 2. MOS Rail has attracted an average daily patronage of 80 000 to 90 000 passenger trips since opening and achieved a single-day record of 125 000 passenger trips on 24 December 2004. All MOS Rail stations are operating smoothly and MOS Rail passengers are now generally accustomed to the interchange arrangement with East Rail at Tai Wai Station. Both Tai Wai Station and East Rail have enough capacity to handle the additional passengers resulting from the commissioning of MOS Rail. Even during the morning peak hours, most MOS Rail passengers can board the first East Rail train that arrives. 3. MOS Rail operates more than 500 trains a day. The train service delivery and punctuality rates for January 2005 were 99.92% and 99.74% respectively. These rates are above KCRC’s performance requirements as laid down in the service agreement with the Government. Improvement measures 4. Over the past two months, passengers have made a number of suggestions on MOS Rail services. As for Members’ request for follow-up actions on the noise monitoring of MOS Rail, an update on the subject is detailed in paragraphs 14 to 17. 5. To familiarise passengers with the operation of MOS Rail and the interchange arrangement at Tai Wai Station, KCRC has employed 130 temporary service ambassadors and, during the first week of operation, set up information - 1 - counters at the concourse of all MOS Rail stations to provide assistance to passengers.

LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL PANEL ON TRANSPORT Pedestrian Schemes for Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui Introduction This paper informs members of the details of the proposed pedestrian schemes for Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. Background 2. At the meeting of the LegCo Panel on Transport held on 25 February 2000, the Administration presented the objectives and the general concept adopted in devising pedestrian schemes with particular reference to the Causeway Bay scheme as illustration. Members requested the Administration to provide details of the Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui pedestrian schemes for information. Pedestrian Scheme for Mong Kok 3. The pedestrian scheme in Mong Kok covers the area bounded by Argyle Street, Nathan Road, Dundas Street and Fa Yuen Street as shown in Figures 1 and 1A. 4. The substantial commercial, retail and other economic activities in Mong Kok generate significant transport needs, e.g. loading and unloading, access by public transport, and access to car parks. To ensure general access to this area will be maintained, the pedestrian scheme targets the streets where pedestrian activities are most concentrated. Sections of Nelson Street and Soy Street between Nathan Road and Sai Yeung Choi Street South are designated as fully pedestrianised streets. In addition, Tung Choi Street and the section of Sai Yeung Choi Street South between Nelson Street and Soy Street would be designated as part-time pedestrianised streets. Vehicles, other than emergency vehicles, would not be permitted to enter the streets during specified hours, initially between 4 pm to mid-night. 5. The rest of the streets within the area would be designated as mixed priority streets.

Objectives 1.1 The 2020 Hong Kong Cyclothon, organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, is scheduled to be held on 15 November 2020. This document outlines to the Islands District Council Traffic and Transport Committee the event information and traffic arrangements for 2020 Hong Kong Cyclothon, with the aim to obtain the District Council’s continuous support. 2. Event Background 2.1. Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is tasked to market and promote Hong Kong as a travel destination worldwide and to enhance visitors' experience in Hong Kong, by hosting different mega events. 2.2. The Hong Kong Cyclothon was debuted in 2015 in the theme of “Sports for All” and “Exercise for a Good Cause”. Over the past years, the event attracted more than 20,000 local and overseas cyclists to participate in various cycling programmes, as well as professional cyclists from around the world to compete in the International Criterium Race, which was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited (CAHK). The 50km Ride is the first cycling activity which covers “Three Tunnels and Three Bridges (Tsing Ma Bridge, Ting Kau Bridge, Stonecutters Bridge, Cheung Tsing Tunnel, Nam Wan Tunnel, Eagle’s Nest Tunnel)” in the route. 2.3. Besides, all the entry fees from the CEO Charity and Celebrity Ride and Family Fun Ride and partial amount of the entry fee from other rides/ races will be donated to the beneficiaries of the event.

Turn right to find the first lift well. Then take the lift to the 28th Floor. Getting There There are a number of easy options to reach Hutong. Taxi drivers will know the name One Peking (or show them the address in Chinese: 尖沙咀北京道 1 號), a building near Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui. Once you get to One Peking in Tsim Sha Tsui, there are 2 ways up to the Hutong. From street level, find the escalators (entrance on Kowloon Park Drive) that lead up to the Mezzanine level. Turn right to find the first lift well. Then take the lift to the 28th Floor. Via the underground at MTR Exit L5. Take the lift up to the Mezzanine level.
