Nine Below Zero Hanno Diffuso Un Mix Esplosivo Di Blues & Rock Attraverso Numerosi Concerti Che Hanno Sempre Lasciato Gli Spettatori Entusiasti E Soddisfatti Biografia from South London (UK) Photo by Cristina Arrigoni 30 anni di British Blues!

Advance Trade Information BOOKS THE CHAIN 50 YEARS OF FLEETWOOD MAC Pete Chrisp HARDCOVER SPECIAL EDITION They began as a little blues band in London, England, in 1967, named, rather bizarrely, after their tight rhythm section: Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass. Fleetwood Mac. Fifty years later, as they prepare for their gigantic farewell world tour throughout 2018, they remain one of the biggest bands of all time – a position they have held since 1977 when, with the help of John’s wife, Christine McVie, and two virtually unknown American musicians called Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, they released an LP titled Rumours that went on to become the world’s best-selling album. That, in itself, is a remarkable story. Now consider the highs and lows, the successes and failures, the personal turmoil, tragedy and heartbreak through which this band has journeyed over the last 50 years … and the story of Fleetwood Mac becomes one of pure drama. The greatest ever rock ‘n’ roll soap opera. In this independent, lavishly illustrated publication, music writer and journalist Pete Chrisp reveals the true story of how, over the last 50 years, despite all of those confrontations, pinnacles and all-time lows … the chain of Fleetwood Mac remains unbroken. Nine Below Zero ‘Are We There Yet?’ 40th Anniversary tour 1979 – 2019 www.ninebelowzero.com/tour “Nine Below Zero are back, re-united and with a big sound”- Blues in Britain “one of the finest R and B acts around” – Louder Than War 40 years since Nine Below Zero first offered a rhythm & blues alternative to the punk-pop of the mainstream, the south Londoners announce their ‘Are We There Yet?’ tour. With a reputation as “one of the best blues bands around today” for their scintillating live performances, this tour will not disappoint - expect a fearsome, supercharged set from start to finish. Founding members Dennis Greaves (guitar & vocals) and Mark Feltham (harmonica & vocals) will be joined by Dennis’ son Sonny Greaves on drums, Ben Willis on bass, Tom Monks on keys and the impressive female vocals of Charlie Austen. Starting in Dartford on October 5th the tour will coincide with the release of ‘Avalanche’, the band’s 20th album on October 4th. “Superbly executed, highly infectious” Record Collector Formed in 1979 the band took their musical cues from the R&B greats of the 60s, with a harder- edged sound more akin to contemporaries Dr Feelgood with a strong dose of The Yardbirds. In a meteoric rise to prominence on the British blues scene, Nine Below Zero signed to A&M Records in 1980 and released the seminal ‘Live At The Marquee album’. By the end of that year, they had moved from selling out the Marquee to selling out Hammersmith Odeon (now Apollo). High profile tours with The Who and The Kinks followed, as well as regular TV performances on The Old Grey Whistle Test and The South Bank Show and a guest appearance on The Young Ones.
