COUNTY COUNCIL (NORTH & SOUTH MORETON PARISHES) (RESTRICTED ROADS) ORDER 20**

The Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under sections 82(2), 83(2) & 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to that Act hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Oxfordshire County Council (North & South Moreton Parishes) (Restricted Roads) Order 20** and shall come into force on the day of 20**.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule to this Order shall be restricted roads for the purposes of section 81 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

3. No speed limit imposed by this Order applies to a vehicle falling within Regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011, being a vehicle used for naval, military or air force purposes, when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those regulations.

4. The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (South Moreton Parish) Order 1999 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) ( Parish) Order 1999 are hereby revoked

SCHEDULE North Moreton a) Bear Lane from its junction with High Street for its entire length. b) Elm Road from its junction with Wallingford Road for a distance of 107 metres west. c) High Street from its junction with the and Wallingford Road to parish boundary at Donsomer Hill. d) Long Wittenham Road from its junction with the High Street and Wallingford Road to a point 167 metres north of Queen Way.

e) Sires Hill from a point 193 metres south west of the junction, of the unnamed roads to Long Wittenham, North Moreton and Brighwell-cum- Sotwell for a distance of 373 metres in a southerly direction. f) Wallingford Road from its junctions with Long Wittenham Road and High Street to a point 590 metres north of its junction with Elm Road.

South Moreton a) Anchor Lane from its junction with the High Street to Moreton Road, . b) Church Lane from its junction with the High Street for its entire length. c) Road from its junction with the High Street for a distance of 118 metres north west. d) High Street from its junction with Sands Road to its junction with Anchor Lane. e) Hithercroft from its junction with the High Street/Anchor Lane for a distance of 540 metres east. f) Kirby Close from its junction with Sands Road for its entire length. g) Mill Lane from its junction with the High Street for a distance of 180 metres south west.

h) Moreton Road from its junction with Anchor Lane for a distance of 305 metres south. h) Paper Mill Lane from its junction with High Street for its entire length. i) Sands Road from its junction with High Street to the parish boundary at Dunsomer Hill.
