I found an expired listing (no sale) on ebay of a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7-G in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Not familiar with that model, I began to research and found out it was a very limited production car built on the same line, and likely by the same folks that built my GT350, only a few months earlier. Well, it was just meant to be in my garage. I negotiated with the owner over several weeks, a lot of photos were transferred during our discussions – was even able to talk with previous owners. We struck a deal just before it was placed in into winter storage (a lot of early snow falls in Alberta). I had it shipped and delivered. It is a bit more challenging to transport a car across an international border but my shipper handled the task well.
