Introduction About the bridging Island plan 1.1 AECOM has been commissioned to undertake an independent Sustainability Appraisal (SA) in support of the Jersey Island Plan 2022-2025 (hereafter referred to as the bridging Island Plan). 1.2 The Government of Jersey (GoJ) is currently developing a new Island Plan to replace the current Island Plan 2011 to 2021. In 2019 the Minister for the Environment launched the Island Plan Review Programme, with a view to developing a new ten year Island Plan for the 2021 to 2030 period. However, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has meant that it is no longer possible to deliver an Island Plan as originally
