Pay as you go: Coins only, no change given back. No paper bills are accepted Tap as you go: Card readers accept contactless Visa and Mastercard credit cards and Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Applies to credit cards that have a tap function, and international credit cards might not apply. Day pass: If you plan on making more than 4 trips in a day, consider purchasing a day pass, available at Skytrain stations, which costs $10.25 and is valid from the first transit service to the end of the service day. Compass Card: This is a convenient ‘tap-to-pay’ system used across public transportation in the greater Vancouver area. This option offers a discounted fare more affordable than regular paper ticket purchase. Cards require a $6 deposit, that can be refunded upon return at Stadium-Chinatown Station. You can buy a Compass Card on-campus at Shoppers Drug Mart, or off- campus at Skytrain locations, or major grocery or drug stores such as Shoppers, London Drugs, Safeway, 7-Eleven.
