It was obvious that OTE has held many events as they were very thorough in everything from documentation to the site visits. Mitchell, RPS Senior Property Manager, Gemini Rosemont Q: What were your initial thoughts when you were approached with this event idea? A: We were first approached in 2013, and my initial thought was that we expended considerable efforts to ensure that people did not get to our roof and go over the edge. My other initial thought was that OTE must have sizeable insurance coverage once I understood their program and mission. Q: What were your main concerns about hosting an OTE event? A: Safety and logistics were my main concerns. Q: Besides giving back to your community, were there any additional “perks” for hosting an OTE event? i.e. Media exposure, contacts, etc? A: Our company was new to this market and branding Funds raised through OTE events help Make-A-Wish kids realise their dreams, raise money for breast, kidney and lung was one of our goals. In 2013 & 2014 we hosted with cancer awareness and programs, help those struggling with addiction, build houses for those in need or provide Tulsa Area United Way as the designated charity.
