The goal is to create an active, but appropriate forecourt to one of Philadelphia’s most historic structures as part of a broader agenda to improve the infrastructure and civic spaces of Center City, as outlined in our most recent State of Center City report. Funding from adjacent property owners and from the John S. and James L.
