You will find fruits, vegtables, dairy products, spices and all sorts of uzbek foods, that have been produced all over Uzbekistan. • Applied Arts Museum - Housing some of the best handicrafts available for viewing in Uzbekistan, founded in 1937. • Amir Timur Square - Public Square dedicated to the founder of the Timurid Empire, Amir Timur’s (Tamerland) statue takes pride of place here. • Navoi Theater Square - The Navoi Theater is the national Opera Theater, built by the Japanese and Korean POWs. • Tashkent Metro - It was completely forbidden to photograph Tashkents Metro System for decades, but now after political and economic reforms in the late 2018s the ban was lifted. How- ever, you will not have to worry about all those things now, as Khiva nowadays is a friendly and hospita- ble ancient city on the Silk Road that is well organized for tourists. You will take a flight to Urgench, the capital of Khorazm Province, situated between the river Amu, and Tashaoz. Once you arrive into Urgench you will take a drive to the historical city of KHIVA, while making a short detour to the village of Ulli Hovli. Once in Khiva, you will be given the opportunity to freshen up from your travels and then continue with a sightseeing tour of Ichan Qala, which is an architectural wonder beautifully restored to its almost original condition.
