"As self-builders we designed our family home without compromise. Having learnt the hard way after living in new-build homes by large developers, we opted for solid oak, real slate, granite, marble and solid walls and floors. Pits Cottage reflects our desire for a modern country home that has plenty of space, a high quality feel and a light, bright and airy ambience. We love the privacy the location offers, the feeling of being immersed in the countryside with a great village community – yet only 5 minutes away from the M40!”

Upper Wardington

Wardington is an attractive, peaceful north village of two parts, Lower and Upper Wardington. From the main road in Lower Wardington a lane goes up the hill, passing the Parish Church, and leads towards Upper Wardington. With cottages built in local ironstone, Wardington has a good community feel having two public houses and quintessential village green, local shopping facilities can be found in nearby in or Middleton Cheney and the M40 is within easy reach.
