New Digital Channels Offered to Carberry, Minnedosa, Neepawa & Shilo

Brandon MB, May 1, 2007 - Westman Communications Group (Westman) is pleased to announce that it will be launching 33 new specialty Digital channels in Carberry, Minnedosa, Neepawa and Shilo in early May.

Westman Communications Group has been performing an upgrade to the cable distribution systems in Carberry, Minnedosa and Neepawa in preparation to offer faster, more reliable service, more Digital TV channels and more High Definition channels. The upgrades, costing over $100,000, are also needed to increase capacity to offer some exciting new technology over the next 12 months.

“With digital technology and the use of a digital cable terminal, we now can provide more channels for our customers,” stated Dave Baxter, President & CEO for Westman Communications Group. “Our customers will have tremendous options in programming, with more sports, family, news, movies and all around entertainment choices. The new digital channels will be available to customers who own or rent a digital cable terminal. With a minimum subscription, customers have the option to a DCT 700 for free use. Digital customers of Westman are already enjoying Movie Central, six channels of commercial-free movies, access to pay per view movies and events, a wide range of digital music and the convenience of an interactive program guide. With the addition of these new channels the broader selection will give customers more choice.
