  • 320+ Halloween Songs and Albums
320+ Halloween Songs and Albums Over 320 Songs for Halloween Theme Rides in Your Indoor Cycling Classes Compiled by Jennifer Sage, updated October 2014 Halloween presents a unique opportunity for some really fun musically themed classes—the variety is only limited by your imagination. Songs can include spooky, dark, or classic-but-cheesy Halloween tunes (such as Monster Mash). Or you can imagine the wide variety of costumes and use those themes. I’ve included a few common themes such as Sci-Fi and Spy Thriller in my list. Over the years I’ve gotten many of these song suggestions from various online forums, other instructors, and by simply searching online music sources for “Halloween”, “James Bond”, “Witch”, “Ghost” and other key words. This is my most comprehensive list to date. If you have more song ideas, please email them to me so I can continually update this list for future versions. [email protected]. This year’s playlist contains 50 new specific song suggestions and numerous new album suggestions. I’ve included a lot more from the “darkwave” and “gothic” genres. I’ve added “Sugar/Candy” as its own theme. Sources: It’s impossible to list multiple sources for every song but to speed the process up for you, we list at least one source so you don’t spend hours searching for these songs. As with music itself, you have your own preference for downloading sources, so you may want to check there first. Also, some countries may not have the same music available due to music rights.

  • May 2016 FREE
Issue 58 May 2016 FREE upporting ocal rts & erformers Last month ended on yet another sad musical note as Prince left this plane, if indeed he ever inhabited the same one as us mere mortals. Certainly not everyone's cup of Darjeeling but few could deny his supranatural talents whether in writing, playing, performing or inspiring; he was often cited as one of the most underrated guitarists, probably only though because he was so good at almost everything else. Tis a cliché but his like will certainly not be seen again: Sometimes It Snows In April indeed. MAY2016 On a brighter note April also saw a record-breaking (not literally hopefully) Record Store Day as local shops outdid themselves, despite some unfortunates queueing outside Rise in Worcester having to contend with snow flurries. The tills were SLAP MAGAZINE red hot though so we are told and business was more than brisk with no sign of the record (not 'vinyl' please) boom Unit 3a, Lowesmoor Wharf, slowing down any time soon. You can read and see much more Worcester WR1 2RS about what was an absolutely storming day, in Duncan Graves' Telephone: 01905 26660 review and photo spread on page 23. • Uk Versus Usa at the Shockwaves Nme Awards 2007
STRICTLY EMBARGOED UNTIL 8PM MONDAY 29 TH JANUARY Insert logo UK VERSUS USA AT THE SHOCKWAVES NME AWARDS 2007 Expect blood, sweat and tears as we prepare for what will undoubtedly be one big dirty rock’n’roll battle of the bands – and of the nations – at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2007 . The best of British – Arctic Monkeys , Muse and Kasabian – will take on stateside success stories My Chemical Romance and The Killers on March 1 at Hammersmith Palais. Let battle commence! This year, there’s no one clear leader but FIVE bands that dominate the nominations list. With four nominations each, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Kasabian, The Killers and My Chemical Romance have been chosen by the fans to fight it out on the night. For the past two years, it’s been British bands sweeping the board, but this year The Killers and My Chemical Romance may very well make the 2007 ceremony a stateside success story. Arctic Monkeys made NME Awards history last year by scooping the Award for both Best New Band and Best British Band in the same year, in addition to winning Best Track and scoring a nomination for Best Live Band . Sheffield’s favourites have matched their achievement, with four nominations this year for Best British Band, Best Live Band, Best Album and Best Music DVD. Arctic Monkeys said: “Very nice, we didn’t think we would get any this year! It seems weird for us to be alongside them [the competition] because we still feel like a little band. When it’s your own thing you don’t really see yourself alongside The Killers and Kasabian.” The Monkeys have more than one tough fight on their hands if they want to claim the Best British Band title for the second year running, though.

KORN będzie główną gwiazdą przyszłorocznego Impact Festival, który odbędzie się 2 czerwca w Atlas Arenie, w Łodzi. Pionierzy nu metalu wystąpią na głównej scenie w towarzystwie Bring me the Horizon i Of Mice & Men. Na drugiej scenie będzie można zobaczyć: Skillet oraz Royal Republic i The Last Internationale. Grafika promująca wydarzenie: 8. edycja Impact Festival | koncerty w Atlas Arenie , fot. mat. Atlas Arena Scena główna: KORN, wydając swój debiutancki album, zmienił świat. Tą płytą, będącą fundamentem sukcesu grupy, zespół wyznaczył nowy gatunek muzyczny. The FADER zauważa: „Nastąpił nieoczekiwany wyłom w popowym krajobrazie, a KORN wyraził wzbierający się pokoleniowy niepokój przed klaustrofobiczną, samo kontrolowaną świadomością. Wokalista Jonathan Davis, gitarzyści James „Munky” Shaffer i Brian „Head” Welch, basista Reginald „Fieldy” Arvizu i perkusista Ray Luzier, nieustannie przekraczają granice gatunków rockowych, alternatywnych i metalowych, pozostając jednocześnie filarem gatunku, inspirującym rzesze fanów i pokolenia artystów z całego świata. Wpływ i zasięg Korna wykracza poza przyznane nagrody i platynowe certyfikaty. Są „oryginalnym ruchem, czego inne zespoły nie są w stanie osiągnąć” (The Ringer). Reprezentują nowy archetyp i radykalną innowację, ich zdolność do przekraczania gatunku sprawia, że bariery stają się nieistotne.
