Following the Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. slightly earlier settlement at Mendota (naming the chapel after St. Peter), he Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. suggested calling the settlement St. Paul. Since 13 out of the 20 families in GUIDED TOURS the settlement were Catholic, Galtier's desire carried considerable weight.
