About the Author

Fehim Dragusha is a graduate of University Brunei Darussalam, he is a master degree holder in Comparative Religions from the University of Brunei Darussalam. He was born in the countryside of Prishtina “Berrnice e Epërme” in 1982, he finished his primary education next to his village called “Nëntë Jugoviqet” in 1997. In the same year he was enrolled in the Madrasah High School “Alauddin” in Prishtina, where he graduated in 2001. He pursued his bachelor in Islamic Studies (Usuluddin) at UBD, Brunei Darussalam,. After completing his bachelor in 2006, he continued his master degree in Comparative Religions at the same University. His master thesis was dedicated to the Religions and Missionary Activities in Kosovo. During his 7 years of stay in Brunei Darussalam, he worked and taught for a number of private schools in Brunei. After returning to Kosovo in December 2007, he started writing and translating for local newspapers and magazines. From Aprill 2008 to present time he works as an Imam of , where he delivers sermons, prayers and conducts other activities with the youth in the Masjid of Bardhosh. At the same time he worked as a secretary for a non-governmental organization. I am of the view that Mr. Feim Dragusha can adeptly meet the challenges. English, Arabic and Malay is not his mother tongue but as his second language, he has learnt it with rigorous hard work and his process of learning still continues. He is only 26 years old and until now he has managed to publish several works i.e. (a) “Everyday Arabic, English and Albanian Conversation” (2006 – 120pp), (b) “Translation of Qur’anic Advices written by Muhammad Pickthall” (2007 – 180pp) and (c) “Translation of Qur’an in our everyday life by Hajjah Liza Abdallah” (2008 – 160pp), (d) “Articles and Facts about 97

Muslims and Islam, by Fehim Dragusha” (2008 – 196pp), (e) “The Missionary Activity in Kosovo – In Albanian, Malay and English language –by Fehim Dragusha” (2009 – 72pp), (f) “Religions and Missionary Activities in Kosovo – written in Arabic language by Fehim Dragusha” (2009 – 203pp), (g) “Translation of 400 Islamic Advices by Ahmed Izzuddin – Arabic” (2009 – 100pp), (h) “English and Albanian Conversation by F.Dragusha” (2009 – 153pp). The book “The Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore – Darul Arqam” could be considered a great determination from the author, especially when we come to know that he is still in his early stages of seeking knowledge. He can be reached at [email protected] Dr Md.Som Sujimon (PhD) Assoc Prof. in Islamic Law Dean, Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien, Institute of Islamic Studies (SHOASIIS), The University of Brunei Darussalam
