HOW TO GET TO THE A&O HOSTEL Address: Köpenicker Str. 127-129, 10179 Berlin From Ostbahnhof / East Central Station Berlin to the A&O Hostel Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. Turn right down to the traffic light, then cross the broad street to the left and walk across the bridge to the next traffic light. There you turn right into Köpenicker Straße. At the next street corner is the a&o Berlin Mitte, street number 127 to 129. From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) to A&O Hostel From the Central Station there are only 5 S-Bahn stops. You can reach the S-Bahn station Ostbahnhof with every S-Bahn line (S3, S5, S7, S9). Before entering the train, you need to buy a single ticket for zone AB at the ticket machine. The ticket is valid for a one-way trip and all means of transport, it costs 2,80€ and you have to punch it before you enter the train. Please go up to the S-Bahn platform. From there you can take either S3 in direction Erkner, S5 in direction Hoppegarten/Strausberg Nord, S7 in direction Ahrensfelde or S9 in direction Airport Schönefeld. The ticket is valid for a one-way trip and all means of transport, it costs 2,80€ and you have to punch it before you enter the train. Option 1: From S-Bahnhof Messe Nord / ICC take the S-Bahn S46 direction Königs Wusterhausen Bhf or the Circle Line S42 one stop to Westkreuz and change there. From there you can take either S3 in direction Erkner, S5 in direction Hoppegarten/Strausberg Nord or S7 in direction Ahrensfelde to Ostbahnhof. Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. From there take the bus 165 (direction Köpenick, Müggelschlößchenweg) or 265 (direction Schöneweide) and get off at Köpenicker Straße / Adalbertstraße. From Tegel Airport (TXL) to A&O Hostel Before entering the Underground trains or any busses, you need to buy a single ticket for zone AB at the ticket machine or from a bus driver. The ticket is valid for a one-way trip for 2 hours and all means of transport, it costs 2,80€ and you have to punch it before you enter the train. If you buy it from a bus driver it is already validated. Option 1: Take the bus 128 to Osloer Straße and change to the U8 underground line direction Hermannstrasse and exit at Heinrich-Heine-Straße. From there, continue as outlined above. From Schönefeld Airport (SXF) Take the S-Bahn line S9 direction Spandau to the S-Bahn station Ostbahnhof. Leave the Ostbahnhof by the main exit. Turn right down to the traffic light, then cross the broad street to the left and walk across the bridge to the next traffic light. There you turn right into Köpenicker Straße.
