[email protected] ABSTRACT. Five specimens of Plagioscion squamosissimus from Xingu River and ten specimens of Pellona castelnaeana from Mosqueiro Island, both in the State of Pará, Brazil, were examined to investigate the presence of anisakid nematodes, due to their zoonotic potential.
