A ppendix 1: Uniform Violations

What happens when a student wears an article of clothing that is out of uniform code?

The first time: ● For lower school students, a friendly email reminder will be sent to a parent ● For upper school students, a staff member will give a gentle reminder to the student ● In cases where the situation can be rectified at school (tuck in shirt, take off flashy jewelry, etc.), the student will be asked to do so. This applies for the first and every time.

The second time: ● For both lower and upper school students, an email will be sent to a parent. A staff member will inform upper school student of violation.

The third time: ● Parents will be notified and asked to bring a change of clothing. If the violation doesn’t require a parent to bring a change of clothing, the student will serve lunch detention.

The fourth time, or more: ● The student will serve lunch detention or other consequence as assigned by administration.
