The garden will move to a permanent site at Arromanches, Normandy. It will be officially opened in a ceremony in the presence of 50 Normandy veterans on Thursday 6th June — the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. The plants will be returned to Crocus for sale and the oak sculptures will be available for private sale. Groundwork London, a charity that helps communities across London become greener, stronger and healthier, will repurpose the plants and landscape materials from the garden to permanent homes at Welshpool House in Hackney, Teesdale and Hollybush Estate The Garden of Happy Endings Bethnal Green and the Stamford Hill Peace Garden in Stoke Newington. This garden is being relocated to Newmarket Academy School in Suffolk after the show. The trees and plants in this garden will be sold off and proceeds will go to charity. The rocks will be recycled, and as for the biggest feature: 'No home for the walkway — yet! Parts of the garden are going to be relocated to Richard House Hospice — including the apple swing and all the soft furnishings, plus a selection of plants. The plants from this garden will be redistributed to Falls Farm in Northamptonshire where the super-premium, farm-born gin is distilled. The team will replant the hedgerow at Falls Farm Spinney, as well as the hedgerow along the paddock at the farm. The sculpture that was featured in the garden will be relocated to Eaton Square SW1. The semi-permanent exhibition space, enjoyed by residents of the Square, can also be visited by clients of David Harber by appointment only,' we're told. All the structural elements of this garden will be rebuilt at Walkers Nurseries. The Sanctuary is a free family attraction, so visitors will be able to visit the garden free of charge.
