Paramount Network’s ‘Ink Master’ Pits Boys vs. Girls in Season 12

Tattoo artists from around the world will compete on 's reality series, , for two more seasons.

The network revealed the series' renewal on Tuesday, paired with the first trailer for season 12 titled Ink Master: Battle of The Sexes. Premiering June 11, teams of male and female artists will compete against each other to win $100,000, an editorial feature in Inked and the title of "Ink Master." Season 13 will premiere in 2020.

"With Ink Master, the longer we engage and delve into the tattoo world, the more artistry and complexity we uncover," said Truly Original executive producers Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock. "Twelve seasons in, the franchise continues to surprise and inspire us-we love getting to deliver that same experience to viewers, and appreciate the great partnership with Paramount Network that allows us to do it."

Paramount Network's brand creative team partnered with production house Roger to create the spot for season 12. It features a striking visual that shows the separation of teams, which will be threaded throughout its digital creative and key art. The network also unveiled its new spinoff series, Ink Master: Grudge Match. The 12-episode season will allow former Ink Master contestants to settle vendettas with their biggest rivals from past seasons. Former champions Ryan Ashley, DJ Tambe and Cleen Rock One will serve as judges for the series, which is slated to premiere this fall.

Video content from both shows will be available on Ink Master's newly-launched YouTube channel.

"Each new season of Ink Master brings forth heightened interpersonal drama and the stakes will be raised yet again in season 12's Battle Of The Sexes and the fall premiere of Grudge Match."

The news comes after Paramount Network recently announced the seventh season for its docu-reality series, Bar Rescue, and its new spinoff series, Marriage Rescue. Yellowstone, which was 2018's most-watched new cable series, also returns this June.

Ink Master and Ink Master: Grudge Match are produced for Paramount Network by Truly Original with Glenda Hersh, Steven Weinstock and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers.
