tory lanze#q=download tory lanez chixtape 4 songs full album Here’s How Tory Lanez Cleared Every Sample on ‘Chixtape 5’ Tory Lanez’ fourth studio album, Chixtape 5 , boasts 17 earworms built on the back of classic samples. As the fifth installment in the Chixtape series, Tory continues his trend of flipping old-school and iconic R&B samples. For those keeping score at home, this means bringing Chixtape 5 to DSPs is logistically incredible and likely came with a hefty price tag. Listening to Chixtape 5 , hearing the samples (T-Pain’s “I’m Sprung,” Pretty Ricky’s “Your Body,” and many more), and being sucked into a vortex of nostalgia, we at DJBooth had to ask: How, on God’s green earth, did Tory Lanez’ team clear all the samples on this record? And once they cleared the samples, what did the bill look like? In the spirit of journalism, we decided to find out. Speaking with Tory Lanez’s team—Managers Philip Payne, Troy Dubrowsky, Sascha Stone Guttfreund, and Lauren Corcoran, and Kwame Kandekore from legal—we got the exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how Chixtape 5 came to life in all its sampling glory. Our conversation with the team, lightly edited for content and clarity, follows below. DJBooth : Thank you all for taking the time to break this down for me. Sascha Stone Guttfreund : Thank you . We prepared some bullet points: We cleared 17 samples, there was a total of 19 different lawyers we had to clear things through. Ironically, the artists that performed did not get paid feature fees.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss the place of reading as a basic communication skill in an increasingly technological society. The papers chosen for this volume discuss (1) the relevance of reading in the face of social and technological revolution,(2) some specific means of meeting the reading needs of society through two kinds of reading programs--paraprofessional instructors (Women's Talent Corps) and industrial reading improvement programs (General Motors), and (3)some possible directions which reading might be expected to take with increasing societal change. Reactions to several of the papers by those attending the conference are included immediately following the papers, and the volume ends with some concluding remarks which summarize the conference. • A Collection of Texts Celebrating Joss Whedon and His Works Krista Silva University of Puget Sound, [email protected]
Student Research and Creative Works Book Collecting Contest Essays University of Puget Sound Year 2015 The Wonderful World of Whedon: A Collection of Texts Celebrating Joss Whedon and His Works Krista Silva University of Puget Sound, [email protected] This paper is posted at Sound Ideas. http://soundideas.pugetsound.edu/book collecting essays/6 Krista Silva The Wonderful World of Whedon: A Collection of Texts Celebrating Joss Whedon and His Works I am an inhabitant of the Whedonverse. When I say this, I don’t just mean that I am a fan of Joss Whedon. I am sincere. I live and breathe his works, the ever-expanding universe— sometimes funny, sometimes scary, and often heartbreaking—that he has created. A multi- talented writer, director and creator, Joss is responsible for television series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer , Firefly , Angel , and Dollhouse . In 2012 he collaborated with Drew Goddard, writer for Buffy and Angel , to bring us the satirical horror film The Cabin in the Woods . Most recently he has been integrated into the Marvel cinematic universe as the director of The Avengers franchise, as well as earning a creative credit for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. My love for Joss Whedon began in 1998. I was only eleven years old, and through an incredible moment of happenstance, and a bit of boredom, I turned the television channel to the WB and encountered my first episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer . I was instantly smitten with Buffy Summers. She defied the rules and regulations of my conservative southern upbringing.
