The future of the Constitution is still being debated. Today I published anonymously the first of many to come essays on the value of adopting this new form of Want adverts removed? government. Alexander Hamilton May 25. 1787--Constitutional Convention @ Pennsylvania State House Friends and Foes I have been nominated to the Constitutional Convention. I have the belief that our elected officials should be high born and should be appointed for life when they assume office. Of course, if they don't behave, they should be able to be removed--but I doubt it will come to that often. Sadly, there seems to be a lot of opposition to this idea. The idea of a government elected by common people seems to be taking root. It will be interesting to see what becomes of all of this debate. Angelica Thomas Alexander Hamilton Schuyler John Jay Jefferson October 18, 1781--Outside of Yorktown, Virginia Tomorrow is the big day. We begin our battle at Yorktown and I have no Friends and Foes doubt that it will end quickly. I finally have a battalion under my command finally and am ready to lead. This could be the deciding battle of this war. I am anxious to lead my men and our country to victory alongside General Washington.

April 1, 1775, Kings College It's been a few weeks since the battle at Lexington and Concord, where we were able to get the British on the run! I believe in my heart and soul that America should be a free and independent nation. I'm currently training with the Hearts of Oak militia before and after class each day. We will be in this fight sooner rather than later-- and I am ready for my shot.
