TORONTO BLUE JAYS NOTES • The Blue Jays have improved their record to 20-19 on Opening Day and 10-13 on the road in season openers…Toronto is 7-4 on Opening Day since 2005 and 1-2 against the Yankees all-time on Opening Day. • RHP Drew Hutchison (6.0IP, 3H, 1ER, 2BB, 3K, 1HR) won his first career Opening Day start as he became the youngest pitcher in franchise history to start on Opening Day (24 years, 227 days)…is now 4-4 with a 4.15 ERA (43.1IP, 20ER) in eight career starts against the Yankees…is 3-1 with a 1.90 ERA (23.2IP, 5ER) in his last four starts vs. the Yankees. • 2B Devon Travis (2-for-2, 1RBI) recorded his first MLB hit with a seventh-inning home run…is the ninth Blue Jay to hit a home run for his first MLB hit, the first since J.P.
