The purpose of the sister school partnership is to strengthen friendly exchanges and coopera- Health Office 284-7588 tion between elementary, middle and high schools in Zhejiang China and New Jersey. Through inter- school relations, the program aims to broaden students' perspectives, develop students' intercultural understanding, enhance student learning in STEM, contribute to school program of internationalization and build teacher capacity and skills. A STEM Forum to launch the program will be held at Wenzhou Kean University (WKU) in Wenzhou, MAY China. I will be joining the US delegation consisting of STEM leaders in NJ, representatives from US sister schools, Chinese sister school representatives as well as industry, academic and government lead- 3 Spirit Day ers. I will be headed to China Memorial Day weekend and plan to return to school on June 3rd.

9 Plant Sale Pick Up Barley Students Invited to Perform at Game 14-16 NJSLA Testing Gr. 3&4 Our students in Grades 1-4 have been invited to sing God Bless America at the start of the 17-23 Kindergarten Conferences Somerset Patriots game on Saturday, June 8th. Student singers should arrive at 6pm for the 16 Dine Out Day 7pm performance and wear their Barley Sheaf spiritwear. 17 Camp Mason Chaperone Ticket order forms are available on Virtual Backpack and are due by May 15th.
