People seem so much friendlier, and I feel more willing to be myself. I'm meeting so many wonderful people; I can't believe how good life feels!' -A woman after connecting with her guide Channeling Can Change Yo ur Life This book has a message: Channeling is a skill that can be learn ed. Channeling involves achieving an expanded state of con sciousness that allows you to connect with a high-level guide or your higher or source self. To channel, you do not have to be spiritually evolved or have been psychicall your lifei you do need patience, perseverance, and a strong desire to make the connection. We are encouraging you to be a conscious channel-aware o'f what your guide says. You will learn how to raise your vibration tosense, see, or hear in the higher realms ofthe guides, and con sciously bring through messages. In the past the words "medium" or "psychic" were used when speaking of contacting guides. This is being replaced by the word "channel:' The term "trance channeling" Is sometimes used to refer to channeling done in trance; for the purpose of this book we will simply use the word "channeling:' Is channeling reall There are hundreds of stories about scien tists trying to disprove paranormal phenomena and then becom ing convinced that there was something more to it than met the eye. Many became advocates of channeling or channels them- 1 r 2 OPENING TO CHANNEL selves. Although there may be noway to prove whether or not channeling is real in the ordinary sense, we certainly have seen many people use it to produce positive results in their lives. In the last several years, we and our guides, Orin and DaBen, have taught several hundred people to channel and followed them in thedevelopmentoftheir channeling. Thesepeople had one thing in common: a strong desire to channel. Invariably, they have reported that it has changed their lives forthebetter. They say they are able to see a larger picture, to perceive the world in more positive ways.
