DAY 1: SIN DELHI (L, D) (INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT DETAILS AWAITED) On arrival in Delhi meet and greet by our representative, after meet and greet transfer to local restaurants for lunch. After lunch half day city tour of New Delhi Visit New Delhi, it was planned and built by the British in the 1920s and is characterized by Sir Edwin Lutyen's monumental architecture. You will visit Humayun's Tomb, aptly called the predecessor of the Taj Mahal because of its ornate Mughal style of architecture, later perfected in the Taj Mahal. You will then drive pass Safdarjung's Tomb (1735 AD) and the 12th century Qutab Minar, considered one of the most perfect towers in the world, measuring 72 meters high. Nearby, amidst the ruins of the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque stands the iron pillar, which is over 1500 years old and seemingly immune to rust. Drive through the city viewing the Diplomatic Enclave, government buildings, Central Secretariat, President's House and Parliament House. Visit India Gate. Overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 2: DELHI- AGRA (4hrs) Agra Fort: This was originally made of bricks Babar was the first Mughal Emperor who stayed in this fort. Humayun was crowned here, Akbar rebuilt the fort with red sand stone and decided to make it his capital. Shahjahan destroyed some of the old buildings in order to make his own. Shajahan was imprisoned by his own son in this fort. The fort was witness of Indian mutiny of 1857. Shahjahan got the inspiration for the Red Fort of Delhi from here. Agra Fort is a world heritage site.

DAY 3: AGRA -FATEHPUR SIKRI- JAIPUR (B, L, D) ( 232 KM / APPROX 5 ½ HRS) Moring drive to JAIPUR Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri – Lying 37 kilometers southwest of Agra, this magnificent fortified ghost city was constructed by Akbar in 1659 to honour the Chishti Saint, Sheikh Salim, who foretold the birth of Akbar's son, Jahangir. The city is a combination of Hindu andPersian architecture, and is in a remarkable state of preservation. It is a fine example of a Mughal city at the height of the empire’s splendor.Akbar's court occupied this city until it was abandoned, after the local wells went dry. Taj Mahal was built on the banks of river yamuna by emperor Shajahan in the memory of his beloved wife Ajumand Bano. The site selected for the tomb was given by the Maharaja of Amber. White marble was taken from makrana Rajasthan. The chief architect was Ustad Isa Afendi and Ustad Lahori. Artists were invited from Persia, Turkey and Baghdad. The work of mausoleum began in 1633 and 20,000 workers laboured for 17 years to build it. The marble walls are carved with motifs and inlaid work of precious and semi precious stones. For centuries this monuments has attracted tourist from all over the world. Taj Mahal is a world heritage site. (N.B: Closed on Fridays)

DAY 4 JAIPUR (B, L, D) Morning tour of the impressive Amber Fort. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned Elephant for the climb to the main gate. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Mughal ruling families. The Pink City tour - will include City Palace. Also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments. DAY 5: JAIPUR -DELHI (B, L, D) (FLIGHT: ) On arrival in Srinagar transfer to House Boat. P.M: Shikara ride on . Dal Lake has rightfully become an icon of the Kashmir tourism industry. A Himalayan urban lake, it has five basins and a number of channels that are well linked with each other. There are plenty of fishes in Dal Lake and fishery is the second largest industry of the region centered on the lake. The sparkling quiet waters of Dal surrounded by snow-capped mountains on its three sides undoubtedly mark it as one of the most beautiful lakes of India. It is also the second largest lake in the State of Jammu and Kashmir with numerous gardens and orchards all along its shores. Houseboats form an indelible part of the scenery of the Dal Lake that are always ready to take tourists to a romantic and peaceful ride of the lake and soothe their nerves as the houseboat floats over the slightly rippling waters. We load our backpack and other essentials on horses and start our trek. Steep ascend Butsheri through a pine forest and trek meadows to reach Trunkhol for an overnight stayin tents.

Day 10 : Trunkhol - Gangabal (3 hours hike). We leave Trunkhol meadow and continue our trek to Gangabal Lake. This part of the trek passes through alpine meadows under the shade of mighty Peak (5300 meters). We do our lunch at Gangabal Lake and discover the twin lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol. Day 12: Gangabal-Naranag (5 hours hike) - Srinagar (2 hours drive). Leave Gangabal, trek through meadows of Bodpathri, Trunkhol and descend Butsheri to reach Naranag. overnight stay at the houseboat.
