MINT LIST PORTFOLIO MINT LIST is a PR and communication agency with a fresh approach, focused on architecture, design and events relating to these disciplines. Conceived in 2013, while sipping iced tea beneath the August sun of a beautiful Roman square, MINT LIST is the embodiment of two friends’ burning passion for the communication field: Giulia Milza and Maria Azzurra Rossi.

KAAN Architecten is a Rotterdam, São Paulo and Paris based architectural firm that operates in a global context while merging practical and academic expertise within the fields of architecture, urbanism, and research on the built environment. Led by Kees Kaan, Vincent Panhuysen and Dikkie Scipio, the studio consists of an international team of architects, landscape architects, urban planners, engineers, and graphic designers. London-based FLOW Architecture with Magrits has extensively redeveloped an end-of-terrace Victorian house in Kensington, London. The project consists of the complete demolition and reconstruction of the existing four-storey dwelling, originally built in 1851, together with the addition of a basement and a double-height rear-extension. Spatial planning was driven by maximising the potential for natural light and the fluidity of the vertically stacked living spaces, in order to accommodate the client’s requirements, dissatisfied with the poor quality of light inside the building, and their growing art collection.

ecoLogicStudio is an architectural and urban design practice dedicated to bio-digital design for the definition of a new “ecology” of space and behavior. Founded in London in 2005 by Claudia Pasquero and Marco Poletto, the office has earned an international reputation for its innovative work on “systemic” design, a method defined by the combination and integration of systemic thinking, computational design, biotechnology and prototyping. In Rome, a few steps from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, there is a new boutique hotel designed by STUDIOTAMAT. Condominio Monti, born in the Monti district from an idea of two young entrepreneurs, opens its doors to design lovers, with the structure of a traditional Roman house and its bijoux but functional 33 rooms. Sabina Guidotti, founder of Bludiprussia, has carefully selected bold colors, decorative patterns, sophisticated wallpapers and objects to create a very refined atmosphere. The interior design offers a unique experience: home from home at Rome’s newest boutique hotel.

EDIT Napoli is the first fair exclusively dedicated to design authors and independent designers. Curated by Domitilla Dardi and Emilia Petruccelli, the fair opens to collaborations with great artists and designers and consolidates the link with quality: a retrospective exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini and Domitilla Dardi, a site-specific project by Andrea Anastasio, the Moroso show. Thanks to EDIT Napoli, the city, is no longer just a mere background, but becomes the engine of a creative process, opening the doors of historic places to contemporary design and activating new cultural synergies.

COLLIDANIELARCHITETTO has designed a restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Rome, halfway between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. LIÒN is part of a historical building from the Rationalist era: the bold lines and the saturated colours in maximalist style, contrast with the austerity of the Palazzo that encompassed it, to give back to the city fragments of the Dolce Vita. The refinement of shapes and proportions delivers an eclectic and innovative, informal yet elegant environment, where clients can take a break in style in the historical city centre.

Emilio Vedova exhibition at Palazzo Reale (Milan) pays tribute to one of the most influential Italian artists of the XXI century. A special set design project by Alvisi Kirimoto architecture office re-reads in an unconventional way his masterpieces and enhances the scenic effect of the location. As a minimal and radical gesture, a diagonal septum guides the visitor and doubles the exhibition itinerary. A metal structure with a self-supporting frame marks the compositional rhythm of the pre- existent architectural elements. On the floor, a grey platform with a finish similar to concrete gives continuity to all environments.

The Estonian Centre of Architecture presented the exhibition Weak Monument in the Pavilion of Estonia at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2018. Curators, Laura Linsi, Roland Reemaa and Tadeáš Říha, explore the spectrum between the explicit representation of the monument and the implicit politics of everyday architectures: from the triumphal column to the pavement beneath it, through all that is inbetween.
