It is now 1 year since the launch of the club’s Kids Initiative (KI) and it has been a very busy one at that. For those new to the club the KI is a long-term project by the club to give access for kids, especially those facing financial or emotional hardship, the chance to watch or participate in ‘the beautiful game’. From a standing start, and with a very small budget, I think we have seen the start of something that will cement our club as a vital and integral part of the local community. In 2020 Poole Town FC will celebrate its 130th birthday! During the last 12 months we have held 3 holiday soccer schools over 6 weeks in which we offered free places to children from local charities including Dorset Children’s Foundation, BCHA, MOSAIC, New Forest Young Carers and the Christchurch Youth Centre. So far 94 places have been taken by these kids in these fun packed footie days. My thanks go to Danny & Sam Herrington for their help in making this happen. In addition at the end of the 2017/18 season we offered the first of our ‘Free Family Ticket’ days to local school children. That has been followed by 2 further identical days during the season just gone. From a handful of people using the free vouchers at the first game we had over 250 people take advantage for the last one with over 20 schools taking part in the scheme during the season. A blossoming connection with local schools has enabled us to create & distribute our Kids & Community Newsletter which has now seen 3 editions. These newsletters can be viewed on our dedicated community website: ptfckids.co.uk which publicises and reports on all our news and events to do with our work within the community and with our youth teams (of which there are over 30). The biggest breakthrough though for me is that the KI is engaging with local businesses who buy into what we are trying to do in improving the lives of local children.

34 I POOLE TOWN FC V TIVERTON TOWN 13TH AUGUST 2019 POOLE TOWN FC V TIVERTON TOWN 13TH AUGUST 2019 I 35 Sponsorship Around the league PROGRAMME ADVERTISING Poole Town FC will be producing over 7,000 Match Day high quality programmes during the 2019/20 season. We have options for quarter page colour adverts, half page colour adverts and full page colour adverts for the season. PITCHSIDE ADVERTISING BOARDS This is an excellent way of advertising your company along the internal perimeter of the ground. The first team will play a minimum of 21 league games which are watched by many on Youtube, with other cup games also taking place. MATCH BALL You will receive ground passes for two, a match day programme with your company on the front page as the match ball sponsor. The hospitality consists of pre-match drinks, a half time cuppa and more drinks at the end of the game. Finally you will be offered an advert before and at half time on the public address system at the ground. MATCH DAY MASCOT

The Match Day Mascot sponsorship package gives a young supporter the opportunity to be the team mascot for the day and mix with the players as well as watch the game with two other guests. The match day mascot will receive a tour of the ground, visit the home dressing room to meet the players, warm up with the team before kick-off and lead the team out.

MATCHDAY SPONSORSHIP Corporate hospitality is a great way to treat your clients or workforce. You will receive ground passes for six people, a match day programme with your company on the front page stating you are the match sponsor; hospitality includes a prematch meal with drinks and at the end of the game more drinks! You will also choose the Dolphins “Man of the Match,” and meet him so you can present him with a bottle of bubbly in the Boardroom at the end of the game. Finally you will be offered a shout out before and at half time on the public address system at the ground.

TEAM KIT & PLAYER SPONSORSHIP You can sponsor a player of your choice. Your name/ business name/logo will be alongside the player on the Poole Town website. There is an opportunity to sponsor the shirt, shorts, socks training gear and track suits.

If you are interested in sponsorship please contact Alex Pike [email protected]
