The mission of ASHEcon continues to be to promote excellence in health economics research and to provide a forum for emerging ideas and both empirical and theoretical results of health economics research. Historically the biennial conferences are the primary activity through which we achieve this mission, though you will be hearing much more this year about our new journal, which will launch in print early in 2015, the American Journal of Health Economics.
