The exchange is hereby informed that Dr. Rajesh Kumar Yaduvanshi has been appointed as Executive Director in the Bank in terms of Department of Financial services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India Notification F.No. 4/4/2018-B0.1 dated 15.04.2019 with effect from taking over charge of the post on or after 01.04.2019 till 08.10.2020, or until further order, whichever is earlier.
It is further informed that Dr. Rajesh Kumar Yaduvanshi has assumed the charge of Executive Director on 15.04.2019.
Profile
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Yaduvanshi, has assumed the office of Executive Director of Punjab National Bank (PNB) on 15.04.2019. He brings with him a diversified experience having held senior positions in the banking sector both in India and abroad. Prior to assuming the position of Executive Director in PNB, he was Executive Director of Dena Bank.
He holds a Doctorate in Science from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. He is also a Certified Associate member of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He is a seasoned banker with over 34 years of rich experience in various administrative and functional capacities at Branches, Zonal Offices and Head Office level.
He started his career with Punjab National Bank as a Management Trainee in 1985. He has also worked for 3 years in United Kingdom with PNB (International) Limited and for 3 years as a Circle Head of Jalandhar Circle. He was promoted as a Field General Manager, Delhi NCR region in April 2015. Thereafter, he joined Dena Bank as Executive Director on 9th October, 2017.
