Mrs. Rollwage was the daughter of the late Sarah Adeline m.Robinson Anderson Greenfield (1822-1892) and Ptolemy Eagleton Anderson (1825-1863) [Link: http://arkansasgravestones.org/view.php?id=1072297 of Zent, Ark. She was born May 9,1858. Her grandfather was the late James Robinson, who came from England in the late eighteenth century. Mr. Robinson married Katherine Schell in 1805 and the couple settled in Lincoln Co., N. C. Sarah Adeline was the sixth child of Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. She met Mr. Anderson and they were married in Arkansas Dec.31,1848. Mr. Rollwage died Feb.28,1936, at the family home in Forrest City. He obtained his PhD at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, focusing on central European history and cultural studies. Since 2017, he has been part of the “Telling Sounds Project” as a postdoctoral researcher, investigating the use of music and discourses about music in the media. Elias Berner studied musicology at the University of Vienna and has been resear- cher (pre-doc) for the “Telling Sounds Project” since 2017.     Lift this section out! This year marks 25 years of Blues for Byron Bay. It’s like watching a child grow up – it’s hard to believe that someone you knew as a tiny baby could possibly be an adult in what seems like a blink of an eye. But that’s how it is for Bluesfest. I remember fondly the gigs at the Piggery (Arts Factory) dancing along to the Blind Boys from Alabama singing If I had a Hammer. Which I guess, now if it were to be contemporised might be something like If I had an Allen Key. I thought the Blind Boys were in their 80s then. They must be well into their 90s – maybe even 100 – by now, and still shining on. I guess it proves that gospel is better for longevity than botox or juice fasts. So in an economic landscape that sees the big festivals struggling, one wonders why a festival, in a regional location such as Byron Bay, seems to have established such longevity and such well recognised international standing. Perhaps it’s the town of Byron and the utopian mystique it still holds; perhaps it’s the nostalgia of seeing acts that we loved when we were 20, or the thrill of seeing acts that are breaking bad right now, the soul-stirring goosebump-producing thrill of authentic blues, or the feeling of hot sweaty bodies dancing beside you. Maybe it’s that there’s something gloriously adult to do at Easter when the kids are at home having their chocolate sugar rush.

Rawlins Research on narcolepsy tends to highlight negative features of the condition while not including the perspectives of people with narcolepsy. This dissertation sought to represent narcolepsy in a way that put the subjective experience of narcolepsy in conversation with the medical language about narcolepsy while collecting narratives of how people with narcolepsy navigate everyday life. A hidden disability like narcolepsy exists within contexts that may obscure apparent differences between individuals. An in situ approach to researching hidden disabilities considers the way physical and discursive contexts shape what is knowable about another person’s capacities. Narcolepsy causes people who have it to have difficulty in matching the spatiotemporal rhythms of society. Using the feminist disability studies concept of misfit and performance studies concepts about uncovering hidden meanings and evocative writing I designed a research project that included in-depth interviews with people who have narcolepsy, participant observation with a local narcolepsy support group and autoethnographic writing.

Cash Grand Master 2008 Proceedings of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina 5 David Ronald Cash On September 29, 2007, at their Annual Communication, the Grand Lodge of North Carolina elected David Ronald Cash grand master. On December 1, he was installed. He is the 155th man to hold the office. Rev. David Ronald Cash was born on October 27, 1950, in Iredell County to the late Marvin Ray and Leona Darr Cash. He is the youngest of five boys raised on a dairy farm in Troutman. He is a 1969 graduate of South Iredell High School in Barium Springs and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1973. Dave, as he prefers to be called, was a three-year letterman in football for Coach Paul Dietzel and the Gamecocks. He has also earned masters degrees from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. On June 27, 1970, he married his high school sweetheart, Rev. Lynn Watts Cash, who presently serves as the minister of Rocky Ridge United Methodist Church in Concord. Their son D. R., daughter-in-law Suzanne, and daughter Jennifer live in the Greensboro area and teach in Guilford County Schools. Mobilizing the fenceline standpoint to study risk strengthens our objective understanding of the social situatedness of risk. To illustrate how a fenceline standpoint contributes to stronger objectivity of risk contestations, I survey public discourse of coal slurry extraction in Black Mesa, Arizona using an environmental justice framework. Discursive justifications for the construction of the slurry pipeline reveal how environmental injustice in the fenceline community emerged through urban controversies over water and power generation that excluded a fenceline standpoint. Insights from Black Mesa frame the next two cases: open burning hazardous waste at Radford Army Ammunition Plant, and M6 Disposal at Camp Minden, Louisiana.
