This is a complete list of project grants offered in the first funding round of the 2004/2005 financial year. Applications to this round closed on 30 July 2004 and grants were announced in late October. Grants are listed within artforms under Creative New Zealand funding programmes. In this round, 263 project grants totalling more than $3.9 million were offered to artists and arts organisations. Approximately $14.4 million was requested from 768 applications.
