The authorship of pseudonymous texts is attributed to the name that appears on the document. In the instances where the pseudonymous author has produced work under their birth name, I have added a note that directs the reader to their pseudonymous work. Moreover, the participants in the zine scene did not always take the time to title their essays, or add dates and publication information to their publications. I have noted the instances where no date or publication information was given. Similarly, in the cases where no title was given for a specific work, I have supplied my own, which appears in brackets. Lastly, the date in brackets after the name of the author indicates the year the text was initially published. The date following that, which appears in parentheses, indicates the date the text was republished, and cited in this dissertation.
