B-Double Travel Restrictions B-DOUBLE TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS No: DESCRIPTION: B1 A maximum speed limit of 40km/h to apply to B-Doubles operating within the Kyogle Town limits. B2 A maximum speed limit of 50km/h applies. B3 A maximum speed limit of 80km/h applies on school bus route. B4 A maximum speed limit of 80km/h applies on school bus route. A maximum speed limit of 50km/h applies within town limits. B5 A maximum speed limit of 80km/h applies. B6 Access between 6am and 6pm only. Max speed 80km/h. Max speed on unsealed sections 40km/h. Max speed in school zones-40km/h. Configuarations permitted only between source of load and delievery point. During school bus hours radio contact be available between the BDouble and the buses. B7 Access from the Princes Hwy is permitted from southbound direction only. Exit from Boundary Rd to Princes Hwy is not permitted in either direction. B9 Access only available as an alternate when normal Purfleet to Wingham access is restricted by either: 1. A temporary road closure across all travelling lanes; or 2. A partial lane temporary road closure that restricts a Bdouble's turning path. B10 Access only from the east then right into Brisbane St. No access between 8:00-10:00am and 3:00-6:00pm. Maximum 25m B double length only. No reversing movements permissible on site. B11 Access permitted only from Great Western Hwy, Old Bathurst Rd, Russell St, Kite St. Exit must be via same route. B12 Access to Adelaide St must be from Gosport St. B14 All entry and exit into Dryaaba St must be from West St. B15 All travel through Coolah town area must be via the internal heavy vehicle route, i.e. Cunningham and Booyamurra Sts. B18 At West Wyalong, heavy vehicle by-pass via Bypass Rd must be used. B19 B-Double Area - All classified and rural roads within Temora Shire except for listed roads. Contact Temora Shire Council or RTA for temporary road closures. Temporary road restrictions may be imposed when route becomes impassable for heavy vehicles. B20 B-Double Area - All classified and rural roads within Junee Shire. Except for Tenandra Road and residential streets within Junee, Bethungra & Illabo townships, unless Gazetted as approved for use. Contact Junee Shire Council or RTA for temporary road closures. Temporary road restrictions may be imposed when route becomes impassable for heavy vehicles. B24 B-Double Area - All local and classified roads within that section of Warrumbungle Shire Council formerly known as Coolah Shire. All travel through Coolah township must be via the internal Heavy Vehicle bypass, ie. Cunningham and Booyamurra Streets. B26 B-Double Area - All roads within the Bland Shire except for residential streets in Wyalong, West Wyalong, Barmedman, Weethalle, Ungarie & Tablliba unless Gazetted as approved for use. A maximum speed limit of 80km/h applies to all local roads. Daylight hours only except travel is prohibited between 7.00-9.00am and 3.00-5.00pm on school days. Travel is prohibited in wet weather and until road is dry. B27 B-Double Area - All routes within Gunnedah Shire excluding within Gunnedah township unless Gazetted as approved for use. Restrictions may apply on impassable routes. Contact Local Council or RTA for temporary road closures. B28 B-Double Area - Operating Conditions: Contact Armidale Dumaresq Council for conditions of travel and any route restrictions. Temporary restrictions may apply to impassable routes. Extreme care must be taken on narrow bitumen & gravel roads, espcially during school hours, or wet weather. Temporary road closures must be checked with Armidale Dumaresq Council or RTA. B29 B-Double Area - All rural roads within Cootamundra Shire with the exception of roads affected by 15 tonne load limit. Contact Cootamundra Council for conditions of travel and any route restrictions. Extreme care must be taken on narrow bitumen & gravel roads, particularly in wet weather. Contact Council or RTA for temporary road closures. Temporary road restrictions may be imposed when route becomes impassable for heavy vehicles. B30 B-Double Area - All classified and local roads within Murray Shire except for residential streets in Mathoura & Moama unless Gazetted as approved for use. Contact Murray Shire Council or RTA for temporary road closures. Temporary road restrictions may be imposed when route becomes impassable for heavy vehicles. B32 B-Double Area - Operators are to contact Guyra Council for conditions of travel and any route restrictions. Temporary restrictions may apply when routes become impassable for heavy vehicles. No more then one heavy vechicle on any bridge at one time. Extreme care on narrow bitumen & gravel roads especially during school hours & wet weather. Temporary road closures must be checked with Guyra Council or the RTA Office. B36 B-Doubles are required to be escorted by RTA Inspectors for the entire journey. Travel is restricted to weekdays, and from 10:00pm to 6:00am on Friday to Sunday nights. Travel is not permitted on Public Holidays. B38 B-Doubles not permitted to use loading ramp near the scales at the Gundagai Livestock Selling Complex. B42 By-pass route during closures of Weakleys Drive. B44 Conditional on no more than one heavy vehicle at a time on the bridges at: 1. Namoi River at Manilla, 2. Manilla River at Barraba, 3.Gwydir River at Bingara. B45 Dangerous goods are not permitted in the airport tunnel. B46 Dangerous goods are not permitted in the North Epping tunnel. B61 Exit must be via Miller Rd, Christina Rd to Woodville Rd. B63 Exit permitted from Gow St only. B64 Exit to Milperra Rd only. B65 Exit will be left out of Waynote Place into MR295 Five Islands Road. B66 For access to vehicle repair station in lower Templar St and turn around at turning circle. B68 For travel to saleyards, right turn into Saleyards Rd is not permitted. B-Doubles must cross the intersection and use the B-Double turning loop. For travel from the saleyards, left turn is permitted from Saleyards Rd to Second Lane. B70 From Forest Way to No. 1 Garigal Road. Left turn on exit with U-turn at Garigal Road, Narabang Way and Niangala Close roundabout. Exit via Forest Way. B71 Heavy vehicle by-pass through Cootamundra via Campbell, Hovell, Harpley and Sutton Streets must be used. B73 Height Limit of 5.3m applies at Kanandah Road underpass. B75 Kemp St is approved only to access the B-Double turning loop at the Saleyards Rd intersection. B76 Left or right turn from Heathcote Rd, left turn only from Centenary Ave. B77 Left hand turns are not permitted from Walker St into Dryaaba St. B80 Left turn movements not permitted into or out Waite St at the Illawarra Hwy. B81 Left turn not permitted from Lancaster Street into Aero Road. Inbound traffic to travel (clockwise) via Lancaster Street, Memorial Avenue, York Road and Aero Road to Kerr Road. B82 Left turn only into Racecourse Rd and turn right out of Racecourse Rd. B83 Left turn only permitted from Silverwater Rd. B84 Left turn only permitted at Woodville Rd. B85 Left turn only permitted from Hume Hwy into Pine Rd. B87 Left turn only permitted when exiting Koppers Terminal. B88 Left turn to Market St is not permitted. B89 Left turn to premises at the rear of Rachel Close, right turn only permitted on exit to Slough Ave. B90 Left turns only at Fairford Rd. B91 Limit of six trips per week. Trained traffic controller required to be on duty during turning manoeuvres. Exit Cawarra Rd by right turn into Capt Cook Dr. B98 No more than one heavy vehicle on Donaldsons Bridge over Currabubula Creek at Currabubula at any one time. B99 No operation during wet weather. B102 No travel past Lot 201, Industrial Galvanisers on Shellharbour Road, Warrawong. It’s one of the oldest surviving rural houses in Yass. The beautiful heritage listed site features an intact complex of buildings, some constructed of handmade bricks. Visiting Cooma Cottage had a surprising impact on the kids, who were thoroughly engaged by its historic value, the landscape and the friendly horses we encountered at the back of the homestead. To manage the extensive network of roads for which council is responsible under the Roads Act 1993, RMS in partnership with local government established an administrative framework of State, Regional, and Local Road categories. State Roads are managed and financed by RMS and Regional and Local Roads are managed and financed by councils. Regional Roads perform an intermediate function between the main arterial network of State Roads and council controlled Local Roads. Due to their network significance RMS provides financial assistance to councils for the management of their Regional Roads. The Regional Road category comprises two sub- categories: those Regional Roads that are classified pursuant to the Roads Act 1993, and those Regional Roads that are unclassified. For completeness, the Schedule includes unclassified Regional Roads. Local Roads are unclassified roads and therefore are not included in the Schedule. The recently introduced alpha-numeric route numbering (MAB) system used for wayfinding purposes in NSW does not directly relate to the legal classification of roads and has not been incorporated into this Schedule.
