Several shops in Salado will have displays under the big tent as part of Christmas in October. A display of antique cars like the one on the right will be on the grounds of the Civic Center. Impromptu fashion shows by Salado shops will also be held throughout the event. Christmas in October will include a Texas- sized bake sale in the Salado Village Artist building. A broad array of cookies, pies, cakes and candies for the holidays will be on sale. The baked goods will also meet the needs of special diets, including salt-free, low-sugar and sugar-free and gluten-free. Admission is $1 per person and benefits the Salado Chamber of Commerce Ladies Auxiliary.
