Judy Polish and Phil Stroh went to Florida for their annual visit. They always stay in the South Beach area of Miami Beach because they like walking amid the Art-deco hotels and on Lincoln Road. They visited relatives and friends, swam in the ocean and the pool, got to see a Pinter play and attended a local orchestral performance. Then they returned to a 77 degree New York day! More recently, they celebrated Judy’s mother's 99th birthday with family. She had a stroke seven years ago and is wheelchair bound. This doesn’t stop her from singing! She loves to sing mostly old songs, but occasion- ally surprises them with an English music hall song. She was born in London and her older sisters and brother brought some English songs with them such as "Where Did You Get That Hat?" She also loves to play cards. If you have news to share, contact me at 372 Central Park West, #15B, New York, NY 10025; 212-663-6309; [email protected]. Help spread the word! Can you help spread the word about our concerts? If you go to jams, sings, concerts, your office, anywhere (even your apartment laundry room) that you could put out fliers, help us by getting a supply of fliers to put out. Contact Don Wade,

e believe in the joy and strength that dance, music and song W bring to people. Our summer camp programs are a place for skill building, learning and sharing, having fun, and taking back what we learn to our community. Laughter and learning—so evident at a camp week, whether it's Pinewoods (MA), Ogontz (NH), Timber Ridge (WV) or Cavell (MI), and whether your passion is dancing contras, squares, English country, morris or sword, singing songs up into the sky, or filling the air with music—that feeling will go home with you. The skills learned and connections made at camp can last a lifetime. Adults love it, families thrive on it. Join us this summer!
