No Second Chance Speaker Biographies www.n2c.com.au • Warren Luff Warren is a multiple Australian motor racing champion with four years of full time racing experience in the V8 Supercar Championship. Warren has worked to promote road safety for many years with his father, renowned road safety campaigner, Ian Luff. Warren has raced all around the world in 12 and 24 hour endurance racing and has competed 11 times in the V8 Supercar Endurance Series. Warren also won the coveted 2012 World Time Attack Challenge with a record breaking time at the new Sydney Motorsport Park. This winning lap has recorded over 20,000 YouTube views. He partnered Craig Lowndes to first place at the 2012 Sandown 500 and third at the iconic Bathurst 1000 in 2012 and 2013 and currently holds the Pirtek Endurance Cup Title also with Craig Lowndes. In 2014 Warren will partner with Garth Tander in the V8 Supercar endurance races, drive the N2C Carrera Cup Porsche in pursuit the Australian Carrera Cup crown and act as ambassador and Master of Ceremonies at the N2C ‘events’. His message to young people is that speed is great, but on a race track, not on the road. In 2014 Warren will be racing a 450 HP Porsche 911 Carrera Cup race car in a campaign to win the 2014 Australian Porsche Carrera Cup Championship. N2C will be the naming rights sponsor of Warrens Porsche Carrera Cup race car. Amongst his other talents are as a stunt driver at Movie World on the Gold Coast. • Paul Stanley Paul Stanley’s 15 year old son, Matthew, was assaulted at a party in 2006 and died the next day. After an outpouring of grief Paul and wife, Kay, formed the Matthew Stanley Foundation to reduce the likelihood of any other families having to endure their pain. Paul has spoken to over 150,000 school students in Queensland and Northern New South Wales over the past five and a half years about the dangers of street violence. Paul works closely with the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Department of Education and was recently a finalist in the Australian of the Year (Queensland Senior). Paul has also been appointed Rotary Internationals prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award and became Life Education Queensland Children’s Champion. When Paul finishes his brave presentation there is seldom a dry eye in the house. This is the same powerful message Paul will impart in the N2C events. • Matt Speakman Matt Speakman was 26 when he was hit by a drunk driver whilst riding his motorbike in 1993. A serious spinal cord injury resulted in paraplegia and he was told he would never walk again. Devastating especially given Matt was a motor sports competitor. Even more so as on the morning of the accident Matt had signed a deal to compete in the 1993 Australian 600 Super Sport (motorcycle road racing) Championship. Matt was recently officially awarded the Queensland Under 1600 Improved Production State (circuit racing) Championship. Matt has also been a member of the Australian Paralympics Alpine Ski team, competed in the 1994 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and now volunteers his time educating high school students about the Road Safety Education programme and is an ambassador of SpinalCure Australia. Matt is the first person in the world to race in a Porsche series in a wheelchair and he is one of a very few professional race car drivers with paraplegia. Matt races in this years Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge commencing in April at Mallala Motor Sport Park South Australia. On this day Matt will make Porsche world history. .
