The form of the Oath to be administered to the Adminstrator above named laying his hand upon the holy Evangelist
Your Oath is that you Shall swear that the abovenamed the Lady Elizabeth Walter your Mother lately deceased dyed intestate and made no Will, so farr as you know or believe and that you Shall well and truly administer the Goods Chattels and Credits of the Said deceased by paying her debts So far as her Said Goods Chattels and Credits will thereunto extend and the Law requireth. And that you will exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Re- gistry of the Archdeacons Court of Oxon ...... a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the Goods chattels and Credits of the Said deceased and Shall come to your hands possession or knowledge and amke your Accompt when you Shall be thereunto lawfully required So help you God and by the holy contents of this Book. .
