We would like to make these comments: The mobile phone signal in Bladon is very patchy and unreliable. The phone in the kiosk has been out of order for months. The kiosk is filthy as it is never cleaned by BT and so puts people off from trying to use it. We believe that there should be a reliable public phone in the village and ask you to make representations to BT about this. Being that it is the only telephone in the village, it would surely be foolish to rid us off it. Not everyone has access to portable telephones, meaning that without this box they may not be able to contact people in an emergency. An emergency as small as missing the last bus out of the village could be catastrophic without access to this telephone. So please do not remove this great fail-safe.
