It's Me, Margaret and Then Again, Maybe I Won't were a huge part of my adolescence. So when Gilmore Girls revealed to me that there was a Judy Blume book I hadn't read, I ran out and grabbed it right up.And... I was a little disappointed. This felt to me like the first third of a really good book, not a complete work. Storylines are started that get dropped, opportunities are missed, and in all, it feels... incomplete. It's me Margaret" like it was yesterday.My daughter was recently diagnosed with scoliosis and will be getting her brace this week. I heard about this book but also heard it had a few adult things in it so I wanted to read it for myself first to see what it was about before having her read it.I'm glad I read it for a few reasons mostly because I think it helped me see the brace from her point of view. The sexual content was a bit much, however, it was normal for that age. As a mom you don't want to think your daughter is having those thoughts, but thinking back as a child yourself, you know she probably is.All together it was a good read and I loved the explanation of the process of getting the brace and what is expected.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. ... book I've come across that deals with what it's like growing up with ScoliosisBy Rachel S.Only realistic book I've come across that deals with what it's like growing up with Scoliosis.
