Chez les hommes, venons-y. C'est encore un jeune homme de 44 ans qui s'est imposé, et ce pour la 25ème fois. Faut- il s'en réjouir ou plutôt s'en inquiéter ? D'autant qu'il faut faire le constat que son match le plus difficile l'a opposé à un autre petit jeune de 42 ans ? Un peu des deux ! Tout d'abord, le résultat brut ne reflète pas toujours la qualité des prestations vues ce jour là. Les jeunes joueurs progressent et s'entraînent de manière considérable même si ça ne s'est pas encore traduit en terme de résultat. V počtu získaných medailí na světových šampionátech je ČR nadále na čtvrtém místě historické tabulky za Čínou, Maďarskem a Japonskem. Českoslovenští stolní tenisté vybojovali na mistrovstvích světa 29 zlatých medailí. V historii mistrovství Evropy je 59 medailových zápisů spojených s Československem, z toho 9 zlatých. Čeští stolní tenisté získali od vzniku samostatné České republiky čtyři bronzové medaile. Je to zároveň výzva pro současnou a příští generace, abychom mohli přidat nové příjemné vzpomínky a rozšířili kolekci úspěchů. Tato bakalářská práce zachycuje celou historii stolního tenisu v ČR. Swedish Open Championships in Table Tennis was played for the first time in 1954 in Stockholm. Since the start SOC has been played every or every other year except between 2007 and 2011. SOC has been played in several different cities all around Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Umeå up north. Stockholm is the city that has been the host of most SOC and the tournament in 2014 will be the 44th time that SOC is organized. SOC is a part of the International Table Tennis Federation World Tour series with tournaments all over the world where the players compete for points to qualify to the World Tour Grand Fi- nals. There are three different tiers at the World Tour – Super Series, Major Series and Chal- lenge Series. SOC is a Major Serie tournament but has historically always had world class play- ers. The tournament is played over five days, two days of qualification and three days of the main draw.
