Existe una versión demo gratuita pero limitada, no puedes cargar nuevas librerías. - App Inventor. Existe otra manera sencilla para hacer programas para el Android: App inventor (esta aplicación es gratuita), he puesto un pequeño tutorial en: App inventor. App inventor es gratis. _____________________ _____________ -- Instalación (3 pasos = Java + emulador SDK + Basic4Android) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.- Instala Java - Puedes bajarte Java gratuitamente de...Java 7 JDK - Marca la opción: Accept License Agreement - Selecciona Windows x86. (Android SDK no funciona con Java de Windows x64, así que aunque tengas un sistema operativo de 64 bits, instala el Windows x86) Actualmente la versión: jdk-7u21-windows-i586.exe 2.- Instala el SDK para Android de Google. IMPORTANTE: Antes de comenzar la instalación crea en el disco C una carpeta llamada Android, es decir C:\Android e instala el SDK en esa carpeta. (No es conveniente instalar el SDK en la carpeta "Archivos de programa", ya que las carpetas cuyo nombre tienen espacios no funcionan correctamente con el SDK) - Vas a http://developer.android.com/sdk/ind ex.html (Actualmente el installer_r21.1-windows.exe) (El que ponga Recommended) Creación del emulador (o emuladores) Una vez instalado el SDK, vas al botón de inicio de Windows / Todos los programas / Android SDK Tools Pulsa en SDK Manager y marca las versiones de Android que quieres instalar, puedes instalar más de una. aquí he instalado la Android 2.2 (API 8) y el USB Driver. Marca: Android SDK Tools Android SDK Platform-tools Android 2.2 (API 8) - SDK Platform Google USB Driver Pulsa el boton de Install para que bajen de Internet y se instalen. Pulsa en Tools / Manage AVDs y crea un New Dispositivo Virtual Android (es un emulador de Android) - Le pones un nombre: juan3 - Eliges el emulador Android 2.2 - API Level 8 - y una forma, WVGA800 (más tarde crea otro emulador con otra forma para ver que ocurre) una vez creado el emulador lo hacemos funcionar pulsando el botón Start... y luego Launch (Tarda algún tiempo en cargarse totalmente, a veces más de un minuto - pazenzia, pazenzia). NOTA: También puedes establecer un tamaño de tarjeta de memoria SD Card, por ejemplo 1 GB. Mobile computing devices have shed loads of weight, gone slim, achieved mass popu- larity and a great market penetration. But one of the challenges that has been part of mobile computing is technology and device fragmentation leaving application devel- opers for mobile phones bewildered. Platform developers, device manufacturers come with so many features and functionalities that it has been difficult to provide devel- opers with an easier means of developing applications and running the application on every mobile device. To solve that, cross platform tools have been investigated and was found to solve device functionality features, platform and device coverage problems. It was also noted that cross platform development was found to be cheaper and takes less time. Even though tool selection in cross platform development was difficult, it was suggested that Appcelerator Titanium and Xamarin were picked as a preliminary starting point. 1 . 2 Preface This master’s thesis was part of a mandatory course work at the department of computer and information science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
