Experience included (1) conducting in-take consultations and interviews with hospitalized nephritic patients revolving around their met and unmet needs and the relationships among patients, informal caregivers, nurses, and doctors; (2) presenting updated requests of patients to nurses and doctors, and conducting consultations with nurses and doctors; (3) provide training to nurses and doctors regarding medical social work knowledge and practice.
2013 – 2014 MSW Intern and Program Director, Civil Affairs Bureau of Beibei District, Chongqing City, China
Experience included (1) addressing residents’ requests from local communities with staff in the Civil Affairs Bureau; (2) coordinating practicum between the university and the Civil Affairs Bureau; (3) coordinating other practicum programs which were under the control of the Civil Affairs Bureau; (4) working on monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
