Vol1to49indextoserialnumbers.Pdf Cross & Cockade International THE FIRST WORLD WAR AVIATION HISTORICAL SOCIETY Registered Charity No 1117741 1970 – 2018 www.crossandcockade.com SERIAL NUMBERS for JOURNAL 1 to 49 . This year the index is so large, we’ve split it into three sections, the first is the general index (this one) for every item except serial numbers and people’s names. The index list also has the manufacturer name of each aircraft after the serial number for easy reference. The List of people is divided by country of origin. The index was compiled using computer software and used colour blue text to represent photographs for emphasis. Following under separate headings below give the detailed subjects, drawings, locations, equipment, vessels and author indices etc. Page numbers give only the first of what may be a series of reference to the subject in any given article or part, in the case of articles running to more than one issue will be indexed again. The authors of both articles and letters are given under the author index section. Targets of bombing and the position of aerial combats or reconnaissance sorties are not indexed. Please refer to the other two separate documents for serial numbers and people’s names. Please keep the battery as far forward as possible • The fuselage is very narrow. Be sure to install the electronics before covering the model This is a small model but don’t underestimate its complexity. Some prior knowledge would be helpful. Although it is suggested that this should not be a first build of a model aircraft, we’ve tried to point out any pitfalls and ease the way to making a successful model of the iconic Etrich Dove (Taube), the first aircraft to drop a bomb in combat, whether you want to fly it or build it as a static model. If you want to fly it, please make sure you take note of the strengthening where suggested. These suggestions are additional to Tony’s, but have been ratified by him for additional strength. Before you start o Some items you may find helpful • A sharp, fine modelling knife or scalpel and additional blades • Fine nosed pliers or strong tweezers • A very fine cross head screw driver for miniature screws • A couple of clear plastic containers for holding small parts.

Manchester Pioneers Back in 1993, when the cities were empty, shut up at night and “urban” was a dirty word, we took a leap of faith. We saw something that other people hadn't in old industrial buildings; we thought they were amazing and beautiful, and we thought people should live in them. From Britannia Mills in Castlefield, to Smithfield Building in the Northern Quarter and Concert Square in Liverpool; we have pioneered city living in the north of England, reinventing old buildings and creating amazing new homes, workspaces and communities. 25 years and nearly 400 awards later we're back doing what we do best with Avro, one of Manchester's last untouched Victorian Mills - and we're working with our old friend, Roger Stephenson, fellow pioneer and architectural legend who helped us transform Smithfield Building all those years ago.
