Our highlight: the original Porsche crest for the 356 and early 911 models.

Every Porsche embodies the fascinating appeal of the , no matter how old it is. Even down to the smallest detail. The Porsche crest, for example. As this is such an essential feature, we’ve now launched a new edition of the original Porsche crest for your 356 and the early 911. True to the colours, materials and details of the original and, of course, ‘made in Germany’.

Now for some background on its history: the Porsche crest has always been a clear reference to the home of Porsche – . At its centre is the ‘Rössle’ (steed) of the official coat of arms depicted along with the city’s name. These are surrounded by a composition of the state colours, red and black, and the antlers from the Württemberg-Hohenzollern crest. Forming a protective arch over the whole design is the Porsche logo. Incidentally, on the original crest this was only embossed and not finished in black. Also, the red elements of the crest used to be more orange – like the state colours of Württemberg-Hohenzollern.
